From performance data to practical decisions

Marketing intelligence & reporting

I bring together search, website, campaign and competitor data to explain what is happening, what matters and what to do next. You get clear reports and practical dashboards, with recommendations you can trace back to the evidence.

I’m Jon Goodey. I deliver reporting and marketing intelligence for organisations through Indexify, working from London and remotely.

A report your team can act on

A clear performance picture

Bring relevant data into one view, with agreed measures, comparable periods and gaps made visible.

An explanation of what changed

Connect the numbers to campaigns, search behaviour and customer journeys. Separate observations from possible explanations.

Prioritised next steps

Turn findings into a short action list with an owner, a reason and a measure to review at the next reporting point.

These three demonstrations use invented data, prepared on 8 September 2026. They show how I approach reporting. They are not client reports, measured client results or live data feeds.

Are more people finding us, and are they choosing to visit?

Click-through rate2.0%1.5%

What the evidence says

Visibility rises 20%, while clicks fall 10%. The click-through rate drops by 0.5 percentage points. More exposure has not produced more visits.

What to do next

Break the result down by query and landing page. Check whether new impressions are relevant, then prioritise useful pages with weaker click-through rates.

Inspect the calculation and limits

Click-through rate = clicks ÷ impressions × 100. Compare percentage-point movement separately from percentage change.

Check branded versus non-branded searches, country, device, position and search appearance. A change in the query mix can explain the totals. This does not prove a title or content problem.

Built around your questions

A focused review can answer one question. A recurring report or dashboard can help a team make decisions every month. We agree the audience, data access, definitions, format and reporting frequency before starting.

Depending on the question, sources may include Google Analytics, Search Console, campaign exports, lead records and DataForSEO. AI can help organise and draft commentary; calculations and recommendations still need checks.

How reporting connects to workflows

Reporting helps you understand performance and choose a response. Marketing workflow consulting improves the repeated process behind collecting, checking and acting on that information.

If preparing the report takes too much time, we can map the workflow and estimate the value of improving it. If the issue is unclear measurement, we start with the definitions and source data.

What do you need your next report to answer?

Bring the question, your current reporting setup and the decisions it needs to support. We can discuss a focused review, a clearer dashboard or an ongoing reporting process.
